About the role

This role requires expertise in Cyber Security, encompassing Cyber Security Assessments, ICT-related cybersecurity, and cybersecurity hardware.

Role Responsibilities

• Receive and exercise a technical delegation from the Principal Engineer for the technical discipline of Cyber and Emanations Security Engineering for the Amphibious vessels.
• Plan and co-ordinate Cyber Security / Emanation Security Assessments and Authorisations with relevant authorities.
• Review and comment on contract deliverables, including design documents and specialist engineering reports, plans and procedures, and hazard analysis and reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or system security/ security management and practical experience with the Defence Security Manual, Defence Cyber Security policy and other Defence security policies.
• Knowledge of Australian and International Standards, regulations and Defence requirements.
• Minimum five years’ experience in an ICT Security related position in cyber accreditation and ATO for materiel systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO Standards and Certifications to ensure compliance and best practices within the organisation.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
