Are you the type of finance professional who notices the one figure that does not reconcile? The person who chases aged debt, tightens processes, manages payroll accurately, and enjoys understanding the numbers behind an entire business?

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a stable, family-owned business for the long term. This is not a role for someone wanting to stay in one lane. We need an all-rounder who can confidently manage everything from budgets and BAS through to payroll, compliance, aged receivables, reporting, and financial operations.

This role would suit a Management Accountant, Senior Finance Officer, or experienced Finance Manager who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and taking ownership.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Monitoring aged receivables and overseeing debt collection processes
  • Payroll processing, reconciliations, superannuation and leave liabilities
  • Preparation of BAS, statutory reporting and financial compliance obligations
  • Monthly financial reporting and analysis
  • Budget preparation, forecasting and financial planning
  • Cashflow management and monitoring business performance against budgets
  • Reviewing customer credit applications and financial risk
  • Maintaining financial systems and identifying process improvements
  • Supporting leadership with financial insights and business decision-making
  • Managing terms of business, supplier payments and financial controls

To Be Successful You Will Demonstrate:

    • Meticulous attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
    • Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret financial data
    • Tenacity and confidence managing overdue accounts and collections
    • Experience across payroll, BAS, budgets, reporting and compliance
    • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership
    • Strong systems capability and process improvement mindset
    • Commitment to building a long-term career with one business
    • Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or similar
    • Experience in a similar broad finance role
    Why This Role?
  • Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established business
  • Genuine autonomy and ability to make improvements
  • Free parking and supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to become a key part of business operations and decision-making
  • A role where your contribution will genuinely matter

We are seeking someone who is looking for more than just their next job. We want someone prepared to become a trusted, long-term member of the business and take ownership of the finance function.

Apply now if you enjoy accountability, accuracy, and being the person who keeps the financial engine running. Must have full working rights in Australia with demonstrated work experience
