Our Federal Government client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a collaborative Management Accounting team supporting project finance and asset management functions.

Key Responsibilities
Project Finance
  • Maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and actuals
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support project managers and governance forums
  • Manage team inboxes and assist with stakeholder queries
  • Support the maintenance of financial frameworks and processes
Asset Management
  • Maintain the asset register
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes (including depreciation and capitalisation)
  • Support stocktakes, disposals, impairments, and asset movements
  • Process capital drawdowns
  • Contribute to asset reporting and financial statements
Stakeholder Support
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information
  • Contribute to team priorities and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good technical accounting knowledge with the ability to apply it in practice
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Studying or completed a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or similar
  • Exposure to financial systems (e.g. SAP, TM1 or similar)
  • Interest in pursuing professional qualifications (CPA/CA)
