Description of the role: We’re seeking an Intemediate Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. In this role you’ll collaborate with clients to tackle the challenges of running and growing their businesses. From financial management to strategic planning, you’ll play a key role in unlocking opportunities and shaping their futures.

  • 1+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting firm
  • Is CA/CPA Qualified or currently undertaking

  • Demonstrated experience preparing and managing trust accounts and trust tax compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB, APS, Class, or similar accounting software will be highly regarded.

What your day might look like:

  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and compliance obligations for a diverse portfolio of business clients.
  • Provide business advisory services, including cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver proactive accounting and taxation advice.
  • Assist with tax planning, business structuring, and strategic growth initiatives for clients.
  • Prepare and maintain trust accounting records and trust compliance requirements as part of the firm's broader client service offering.
  • Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to support the delivery of timely and accurate financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and taxation legislation while maintaining high attention to detail across all work.
