Responsibilities
  • You will be required to assist in all aspects of the mortgage broking and lending administration processes, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below.
  • Managing the day-to-day loan process daily, such as following up to chase outstanding documentation, packaging loans, and liaising with lenders to efficiently support your clients' processes.
  • This will require you to order valuations and credit reports and manage any requests for further information from the lender while keeping your client fully informed.
  • Collect client documents, analyse financial information, run serviceability calculations using Quickli, and perform basic pre-qualification assessments.
  • Reviewing payslips and financial statements is a requirement for the role.
  • Packaging loans from inception to settlement.
  • CRM data entry and maintenance.
  • Prepare discharge authority, FHOG, and FHLGS forms.
  • Submit pricing requests and lodge files to lenders.
  • Order valuations and credit reports.
  • Manage lender requests for additional information.
  • Send post-settlement info to clients.
  • Conduct post-settlement follow-ups every 6 or 12 months.
  • Prepare NCCP and lender application documents.
Qualifications
  • A higher education degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Australian mortgage industry.
  • Proficient in document collection, serviceability analysis using Quickli, and pre-qualification assessment.
  • Skilled in reviewing payslips and financial statements to verify income and financial capacity.
  • Working knowledge of Connective CRM (Mercury) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in SMSF lending is an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of Australian lender policies and market changes.
  • Experience dealing with major Australian bank lenders is highly regarded.
  • Honest, reliable, and proactive with strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
  • Creative thinker with a strong desire to find effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with daily client interaction via email and phone.
