Role Overview

We are redefining the customer experience and are looking for an Inside Sales Support to join our Operations team in Melbourne or Canberra.

The Inside Sales Support team member ensures the smooth operation of the Sales team by providing both pre‑sales and administrative support. This role enables the team to focus on client engagement and revenue growth by managing internal sales processes, maintaining accurate sales data, preparing professional quotations, and supporting the overall efficiency of the sales function. The incumbent acts as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality delivery of sales support services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day sales and administrative support to the Business Development and Customer Success teams, ensuring accurate client data, transparent communication, and smooth operations.
  • Prepare and manage professional, accurate, and competitive sales quotations, maintaining records, tracking progress, and ensuring timely follow‑ups.
  • Utilise ConnectWise and other internal systems to manage daily tasks, prioritise workloads, and maintain accurate opportunity, quotation, and distributor information.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and vendors to optimise pricing, product knowledge, and available discounts, and collaborate to resolve issues or clarify product specifications.
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing updates, and vendor promotions to support informed decision‑making and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deliverables, ensure smooth project handovers, and achieve successful outcomes for customers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining current documentation, identifying process efficiencies, and supporting ad‑hoc projects that enhance performance and growth.
Qualifications
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrated by engaging external stakeholders and providing confidence in CT’s solutions and capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products, solutions, and vendor offerings.
  • A keen interest in technology and a strong desire to grow understanding and expertise in the products and solutions we provide; willingness to learn new technology solutions and concepts to confidently liaise with staff and external vendors.
  • Positive attitude and can‑do mindset, fostering a one‑team‑one‑dream mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with the ability to leverage CT and Vendor resources to create and engineer effective solutions.
  • Valid Vulnerable People, Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check.
