Details: An opportunity has arisen in ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) for a highly motivated and organised person to fill the role of Senior Administration Officer (ASO6), within the Sentence Administration Board (SAB) Unit.
The Senior Administration Officer performs a key operational leadership role within the SAB Secretariat, ensuring the effective coordination of case management and Secretariat processes that support the Board’s decision-making functions.
The successful applicant provides operational oversight of Secretariat activities, including monitoring the preparation and completion of Board outcomes, maintaining procedures and templates, and ensuring effective intra-office communication and coordination.
In consultation with the team and under direction from the Director, the successful applicant will also coordinate and deliver project work.
Further to this, the successful applicant may also take administrative carriage of specific and/or complex offender cases.
To be successful, you will have the ability to think strategically, problem solve and make sound judgements. You will also demonstrate strong administrative and organisational capabilities, in addition to exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
