NTT Data is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a leading federal government department for an initial 6 month contract based in Canberra.

  • Initial 6 month contract + 6 month extension
  • Hybrid working – minimum 2 days per week in office
  • Due to the secure nature of the work, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance

To align with the current scope of work, we are seeking candidates with experience in one of the following specialisations (experience in both is not required):

  • Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps, or
  • ServiceNow, including service catalogue management
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, validate and document business requirements
  • Model business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assess and communicate risks, issues, and benefits of solutions
  • Generate insights from data, identifying trends and patterns
  • Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, developers, testers and project teams
  • Develop user stories and/or use cases
  • Support business transition and help embed change initiatives
Key Requirements
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality business analysis deliverables, applying structured techniques and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables, meet deadlines, and adapt to change
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Experience facilitating workshops and managing varied stakeholder groups
  • Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps; or
  • ServiceNow and service catalogue management
  • Familiarity with system development and project management methodologies
  • Experience working in Agile environments
