Finance Officer

• Hourly Rate: $59 – $63 per hour + super (Labour Hire)
• Contract: 12-month contract

The Day-to-Day

Joining the central Finance Business Partnering team, you will strengthen and streamline how the agency tracks, manages, and recovers its program revenue.

• Automate & Refine: Move their timekeeping-to-invoicing workflows from manual entry to smooth, automated systems.
• Data Integrity: Maintain and validate a central historical dataset tracking revenue recovery efforts (FTE and $ amounts).
• Insights & Reporting: Keep an eye on revenue vs. actual budgets and present clear findings directly to the agency's Governance Forum.
• Internal Advisory: Provide high-level advice and support to various internal business streams on their specific scheme budgets.

What You Bring

• The Basics: Strong experience in accounting, financial administration, or revenue recovery/invoicing setups.
• The Excel Factor: Comfort working with large datasets, finding data discrepancies, and verifying numbers across multiple sources.
• The Match: Excellent communication skills to act as a supportive finance partner to internal business teams.
