$150k-$200k + Super + Vehicle Allowance

A leading mechanical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial projects is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their ACT team.

With a secured pipeline of major projects over the next two years, this opportunity will see you take ownership of a flagship commercial development in the heart of Canberra, working alongside one of Australia's leading Tier I builders.

The Role Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a major mechanical package from procurement through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all commercial and operational aspects of the project
• Coordinating project teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
• Maintaining programme, budget and quality objectives
• Managing client, consultant and builder relationships
• Procurement of equipment and subcontractor packages
• Monitoring project financial performance and forecasting
• Overseeing commissioning activities and project close-out
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality requirements

About You To be successful in this position you will ideally possess:

• Previous experience delivering major HVAC/mechanical projects valued at $10M+
• Experience working with Tier I or large commercial builders
• Strong understanding of mechanical services construction methodologies
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, programmes and resources
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Exposure to large-scale commercial, healthcare, government or institutional projects
