The Classroom Teacher inspires and supports students by delivering engaging, purposeful lessons using evidence-based strategies and approved curriculum resources. They create inclusive environments where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best.
Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Part-time | 38 hours per fortnight | Contract for the remainder of the 2026 school year
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the RoleThe Classroom Teacher inspires and supports students by delivering engaging, purposeful lessons using evidence-based strategies and approved curriculum resources. They create inclusive environments where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their best. Through regular assessment and personalised feedback, they guide each student's learning journey, carefully tracking progress and celebrating milestones along the way. By collaborating and communicating with colleagues and families, they help build a strong support network around each student. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to work in a Year 5 classroom in a very supportive and motivated school. The applicant will have the opportunity to teach children all curriculum areas and extend the children's learning, while growing in professional expertise.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.
