About Us

Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT (Anglicare) is a not‑for‑profit organisation currently seeking Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our team in Canberra. We are deeply committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people, and we maintain zero tolerance for child abuse in any form.

At Anglicare, we create child‑safe environments where children feel included, valued, and heard, and where their strengths and diversity are celebrated. We genuinely promote the cultural safety and inclusion of all children and young people, including by respecting and valuing the diverse and unique identities and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.

We also work proactively to remove barriers that may prevent children and families with diverse needs from feeling safe, welcome, or included. Our organisation actively works to reduce the likelihood of harm, encourages concerns to be raised, and responds promptly to any disclosures, allegations, or signs of harm. We equip our staff with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, prevent, and report harm, fostering a culture where children feel safe to speak up whenever they feel worried or unsafe.
