Denman Village Early Learning Centre is a privately owned 96 place early childcare centre located in Denman Prospect ACT. We are looking for experienced educators to join our team. Positions include trained educators who hold a Diploma or Certificate 3 in childcare who are passionate about educating and caring for children. We have a variety of full time, part time and casual positions. Flexible work hours,
We are also offering traineeships position.
The purpose built centre has 5 rooms, 2 outdoor areas, indoor multipurpose playroom, kitchen, separate dining room, and breakout spaces for children under 2 and their families, large office, staffroom and programming room for the educators.
Qualifications/Experience ( Multiple Positions available part time/full time)
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or
Certificate 3 in Care and Education
Demonstrated knowledge of National Law and Child Care Regulations
Valid Working with Vunerable People Card
Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
Accredited Child Protection Training
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and asthma Management training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure the centre facilities a play based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children's ideas, strengths and abilities that inspire independent learners
Develop and Maintain strong links with the community and families
Contribute to ongoing development of Quality Improvement plan.
