Out of School Hours Care Educator

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Casual OSHC Educators to join our Out of School Hours Care programs at St Peter and Paul Primary School in Garran.

Community Services #1 is a profit for purpose organisation dedicated to supporting people and families in the ACT and surrounding NSW regions. With over 200 employees and volunteers, we deliver programs that address community needs and foster a sense of belonging.

About the role:

• Learn to create engaging and inclusive activities for children and provide children a variety of experiences, which will extend, excite and stimulate them.
• Learn to assist the team leader and educators with setting up and running age-appropriate experiences and activities.
• Learn to engage and supervise children while developing appropriate and professional relationships with children and their families.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Capacity to work productively in a team environment, contributing to an empowering, inclusive and safe environment.
• Demonstrated ability to apply well-developed communication skills, take direction and feedback from senior colleagues.
• Hold a current unrestricted ACT Working with Vulnerable People card.

• Competitive Casual Hourly rate of $38.58 – $39.85 plus superannuation.
