Lecturer A/B/C Early Childhood Education FT/PT, Sessional (Onsite)

About the role

CIHE Australia is seeking highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Education Lecturers to join our academic team. As a Lecturer A/B/C, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, assessments and research supervision to our undergraduate and postgraduate students. These positions are based in our Belconnen campus in Canberra, ACT and are available in three employment models: full-time, part-time, or casual.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate students

• Developing and marking assessments, including exams, essays and projects

• Providing academic advice and support to students, including supervising research projects

• Participating in curriculum development and review to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date

• Conducting research and publishing in high-quality academic journals to contribute to the institute's research profile

• Undertaking administrative duties such as student consultations, committee work and attending staff meetings

What we're looking for

• Minimum Masters degree level qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (a PhD degree is preferred)

• Significant experience teaching in higher education, with a strong track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons

• Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education theory, curriculum development and assessment design

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the institute's research agenda
