Lyneham High School Music Teacher – Secondary: permanent and temporary positions
Lyneham High School is seeking a dynamic, innovative and dedicated music secondary music teacher to join their team from Term 3 2026.
Located in the heart of Canberra’s inner north, Lyneham High School builds on its strong traditions to provide a vibrant and creative learning community for our cohort of year 7 – 10 students. With a dedicated and collaborative teaching staff and a strong culture of inclusion, care and high expectations, we are committed to fostering student success and wellbeing.
We offer a diverse range of learning opportunities across the Australian Curriculum, supporting the academic, social and emotional growth of each of our students. Our programs include LEAP (Gifted and Talented), SEAL (Sporting Excellence), Band, inclusive education, STAR and DARE leadership programs, alongside a broad elective curriculum and strong performing arts focus. Our strong Instrumental Band program is incorporated into the school’s elective program. There are concert bands in each year level, currently involving over 300 students. We are committed to developing confident, resilient and creative learners who thrive academically, personally and socially.
