About the Role
As the ICT Systems Engineer (ML3 Compliance), you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting critical ICT infrastructure while ensuring alignment with Essential Eight Maturity Level 3 requirements. You'll undertake preventative maintenance, health checks, patching, backups, privileged access management, and change control activities while acting as a senior technical escalation point for complex issues.

Working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams, you'll help ensure systems remain secure, available, compliant, and operationally effective in high-security environments.

What You'll Bring:

• Current or ability to obtain an NV1 AGSVA Clearance - must be an Australian Citizen
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in ICT, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field
• Experience supporting critical ICT infrastructure, including Windows servers, networking, backups, and patch management
• Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and incident remediation capabilities
• Knowledge of Essential Eight controls, particularly privileged access management, patching, backups, and change governance
• Experience conducting system health checks and coordinating vendor support
• Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience within Defence, Government, or other secure environments
• Exposure to Gallagher, Type 1A environments, CCTV, PSIM, or integrated security systems
• Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, Veeam, or similar vendor certifications
• ITIL, Security+, AZ-104, SC-200, CCNA, or related certifications
• Experience supporting compliance-focused or high-availability environments
