Our work is project-based, highly technical, and grounded in strong engineering standards and practical, hands‑on delivery.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Electrical Engineer / Programmer to join our team and support the design, development, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from design through to on‑site commissioning and ongoing system support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical automation systems including I/O, instrumentation, and actuator integration
  • Program, test, and commission PLC and RTU control systems
  • Develop and configure HMI/SCADA visualisation interfaces
  • Perform data modelling using internal and external engineering tools
  • Configure and troubleshoot industrial communications networks (IP and serial-based)
  • Produce clear and accurate technical documentation
  • Provide support for existing deployed systems and infrastructure
  • Participate in commissioning activities, including occasional interstate travel
Requirements Essential
  • Australian citizenship (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Desirable
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Australian electrical standards (ELV)
  • Knowledge of Boolean logic and state machine concepts
  • Exposure to PLC and/or RTU systems
