The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team on a full-time basis. This is a varied role that will see you working across consulting, surgery, hospital and reception. You'll assist with everything from routine vaccinations and nursing consults through to urgent appointments, anaesthetic monitoring, dentals, soft tissue surgery and occasional complex procedures.

While we primarily operate on an appointment-based system, we occasionally manage emergencies and walk-in patients, so strong triage and patient care skills are highly valued.

Roster

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
• One Saturday shift every three weeks.
• Rostered day off and shorter weekday shifts provided to accommodate Saturday work.
• No Sundays or public holidays.

About You

We're looking for a nurse who is passionate about patient care, enjoys building relationships with clients and thrives in a team environment.

You will have:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Previous veterinary nursing experience (1 + years).
• Experience monitoring anaesthesia and performing venipuncture.
• Strong patient handling, nursing consultation and triage skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Confidence working across surgery, hospital and reception.
• A positive, organised and team-focused approach.
