Rehabilitation Consultant - Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist

Ascent Rehabilitation Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled allied health professional looking to step into a meaningful role where you can make a genuine impact.

The Rehabilitation Consultant position is suitable for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Nurses, Psychologists, or Social Workers.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting clients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to rebuild their independence.

We are looking for allied professionals new to occupational rehabilitation industry, as well as those with experience as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

About the role

In this full-time position, you will manage a diverse and rewarding caseload, taking the lead on complex files and supporting high-quality outcomes for our clients and referrers.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, cognitive, psychological and social needs

• Collaborating with clients, their families and healthcare professionals to create customised rehabilitation plans

• Implementing evidence-based interventions, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy and counselling

• Advocating for solutions and liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless rehabilitation process

• Providing education and support to clients and their families throughout the rehabilitation journey

• Continuously developing your professional knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality, innovative rehabilitation services

What we're looking for

• A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, collaborative approach

• Confidence in managing complex clinical presentations

• Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively and adapt with care

• A genuine commitment to empowering clients and delivering high-quality, evidence-based services
