Dental Assistant

Come and join our warm and friendly team at Canberra Implant & Periodontal Centre in Belconnen. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a large team in a busy, fast paced environment.

We have a permanent part-time position available - 4 days per week, Tuesday - Friday, between the hours of 7.30am-5.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dedicated specialist chairside assistance

• Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment

• Preparing and sterilising instruments

• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control in the workplace

• Support hygiene team

• Support patient care

• Assist with administration tasks as required

Experience and Skills:

• Dental Assisting experience with a keen interest in the dental industry

• Minimum 6-12 months of dental assisting experience preferred

• Proficient computer skills (Dental software)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Exceptional time management, attention to detail and the ability to multi task

• Proven ability to be punctual, reliable and well presented

• Be compassionate, caring and self motivated

• Be part of a large team, learn new skills and be willing to take direction

• Work productively in a fast paced environment

• Must have Australian work rights to commence employment

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
