Silo Bakery has been established for over 20 years and is situated in the South of Canberra.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our busy bakery & cafè. We trade Tuesday through to Saturday, 7am to 3pm. The responsibilities will include:

· Washing dishes, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils

· General food preparation

· Kitchen cleaning duties during service and at the end of service

· Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment

· Follow all Work Health & Safety practices.

Applicants will need to have an understanding of food hygiene and safe work practices as well as the ability to work in a cohesive team environment. A strong work ethic, a desire to learn and the capacity to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment would also be desirable.
