Group Reservations Coordinator

Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a full-time Group Reservations Coordinator to grow a great team. As a Group Reservations Coordinator, you’ll make sure all our clients’ group booking run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for group guests and as well as partnering with external stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships for long-term contracts.

A little taste of your day to day

• In charge of all group enquiries, contracting and coordination, including guest rooms
• Seeking proactive measures to maximise all opportunities to increase sales
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and outside contacts
• Manage the rooming list process for all group segments
• Conduct group briefings and site inspections
• Liaise with the Revenue Team & Reservations Department for room availability and room preferences
• Liase with finance to ensure billing is accurate and credit approvals are processed correctly.

What we need from you:  

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Proven communication skills across, phone, email & face to face style interactions
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, experience with Opera and Delphi highly regarded
• Problem solving and organizational abilities
• Experience working in a hotel reservations or front office role
• Must have working rights for Australia
