As a Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) Security Officer for Google Australia, you will be part of a team of security experts that will maintain a comprehensive security program that complies with the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and other relevant Australian government security obligations as required by legislation or regulation to ensure Google’s ongoing compliance in the Australian market. You will hold the role of a Security Officer (SO) for Google Australia’s DISP membership.
In this role, you will conduct assurance and compliance activities for our information and systems, personnel, governance, and facilities against the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and other Australian Government security standards, such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). You will contribute to the operation of Google Australia’s DISP membership managing security clearances, briefings and conduct security training. You will recommend controls and evaluate facilities and systems according to the DSPF, ISM, Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) guidelines, the PSPF, and other contractual controls in key agreements.
