About the role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Workshop Production Assistants to support our growing manufacturing operations.
This is a casual position offering consistent, near full-time hours for applicants who can demonstrate ongoing availability. Working as part of our production team, you will assist with a range of workshop activities that contribute to the delivery of high-quality products for our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality outcomes, and is eager to learn new skills within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to follow instructions and work safely within a workshop environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work as part of a team
Physically capable of manual handling and repetitive tasks
Good communication skills
Availability to work full-time hours across Monday to Friday
Ability to commit to consistent shifts over an ongoing period
What desirable attributes should you have?
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production or similar environments
Experience using hand tools or basic workshop equipment
Understanding of quality standards and safe work practices
Forklift licence or other relevant qualifications (not essential)
Interest in Defence industry manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with assembly and production activities within the workshop
Prepare materials and components for manufacturing activities
Use machines, basic hand and power tools under supervision
Conduct simple quality checks and inspections
Package finished products for dispatch
Support stock handling and inventory activities as required
Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas
Assist technicians and production staff with general workshop tasks
Follow company procedures, work instructions and safety requirements at all times
Workplace Environment:
Casual role with consistent, near full-time hours available
Standard hours Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
Limited weekend or after-hours work
Hands-on manufacturing, workshop, and warehouse environment
PPE provided as required
