The Position
We are looking for experienced and motivated professionals, who are looking to take the next step in their Contracts and Project Management careers. As a Sustainment Officer at CEA Technologies you will support the Sustainment Team Manager and Contract Managers to deliver sustainment lifecycle outcomes. The Sustainment Officer is responsible for detailed administration in support of contract delivery, developing and driving stakeholder relationships, and contributing to internal and external reporting and analysis, amongst other key tasking.
This position is perfect for an experienced project administrator or junior to intermediate Project Manager who is interested in contracts management. If you are someone looking for a clear, thought out career development pathway, our Sustainment Officers are provided specialised training and multi-level support, to eventually progress into a Contract Manager position.
Key Responsibilities:
Tasking as directed by, and reporting through, Sustainment Contract Managers to Sustainment Manager.
Support and undertake tasking as directed by the Sustainment management team with the administrative implementation of support contract/s.
Prepare and organise timely delivery of project/contract documentation and administration.
Develop rapport and strong working relationships with other CEA business units and external suppliers.
Draft project performance reports, other formal project communications and prepare and support meetings.
Capture and report on data from multiple sources accurately and consistently.
Provide input into project/contract financial reporting and administration.
Drive and coordinate day to day equipment purchases, quotes and delivery of items nationwide and internationally in line with contract requirements and established procedures.
Identify and manage project/contract risks, issues and actions.

Our Ideal Candidate
Minimum 3 years' experience in a project, sustainment or other appropriate environment, preferably within Defence or technology Industry.
Formal qualifications in project management, contract management and/or a tertiary degree in management/ business/commerce/law are required.
Experience working within a team responsible for managing and delivering projects including experience in cost and financial management, planning, reporting, risk and issues management, contract administration, procurement and resource and supplier management.
Ability, or potential to develop the ability, to analyse data to generate insights that support business intelligence and informed decision making.
The ability to deliver results by arranging workflow, determining priorities and meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Competent in use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Outlook at an intermediate level. Additional experience in Power BI well considered.
Eligibility
An Australian Citizen;
Minimum Baseline AGSVA Clearance, with eligibility to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance –Negative Vetting 1.
