SAP Technical Design and Build

Technical Design & Build Lead (SAP)Compas is seeking an experienced Technical Design & Build Lead to join a major Federal Government ERP transformation program.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior SAP professional to lead technical design, build assurance, testing initiatives, and architectural governance within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Must have an active NV1 security clearance and Australian Citizen to be eligible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SAP technical leadership across solution design and build activities
• Drive and support technical architecture, integration, and delivery planning
• Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and enterprise architecture standards
• Lead technical design decisions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP, and cloud-based solutions
• Provide governance and assurance for build and technical delivery activities
• Support and contribute to SAP test automation and synthetic data creation solutions
• Collaborate with delivery partners, architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders
• Ensure technical and functional solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with program objectives

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years' experience delivering complex SAP technical solutions and build activities
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and ABAP development
• Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and modern SAP architecture
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale cloud and integration solutions
• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting SAP test automation solutions
• Experience with synthetic data creation and testing frameworks
• Experience with UFT One (Unified Functional Tester) and/or Tosca testing tools highly regarded
• Knowledge of testing best practices, quality assurance processes, and evaluation methodologies
• Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership, and problem-solving skills
