PKI Lead (Architecture Leadership)

We are seeking a PKI Lead to provide architecture leadership and delivery accountability for enterprise PKI and cryptographic services. This role is responsible for defining PKI strategy, governing technical design, and ensuring reliable delivery of certificate and key management capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Own the PKI architecture and delivery outcomes across the organization.
  • Define PKI trust models, certificate lifecycle patterns, and key management approaches.
  • Act as the primary client‑facing authority for PKI design and delivery decisions.
  • Provide architectural oversight to PKI engineers and supporting teams.
  • Ensure PKI implementations align with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Manage cryptographic risk, lifecycle dependencies, and platform integrations.
  • Support delivery planning, prioritisation, and technical assurance activities.
  • Review and approve PKI design artefacts and implementation approaches.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in PKI, cryptography, or security architecture roles.
  • Deep understanding of certificate lifecycle management and trust models.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise PKI implementations.
  • Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and provide clear technical direction.
  • Experience operating in regulated or security‑sensitive environments.
  • Current NV2 Security Clearance.
  • Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
