Summary

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint and Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team in Canberra on a contract basis. This role is crucial for enhancing our digital collaboration tools and ensuring robust infrastructure support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint administration and infrastructure management, contributing to the optimisation of our IT services and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions that support business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint and infrastructure components.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training to end‑users on SharePoint functionalities.
  • Document processes, configurations, and changes to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint administration and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Windows Server, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation tools to streamline processes.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
