Indigenous/First Nations in Technology & Cyber Security

Outback Talent is seeking Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who are interested in building a career in technology, cyber security, digital support, and defence-related technology pathways.

We work with government, defence, and enterprise organisations to help bridge the gap between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander talent and meaningful careers in technology.

These opportunities are ideal for people who are curious, motivated, and keen to learn. You do not need to have a formal IT qualification to apply. What matters most is your interest in technology, your willingness to develop new skills, and your desire to build a long-term career in the sector.

Some opportunities may also provide a pathway into government and defence environments, including roles that support candidates to understand security clearance requirements and prepare for work in secure settings.
