The Network are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to support a major network infrastructure transformation program within a Federal Government environment.

12 months + 2 x 12 month extension options
Open to ACT

NV1 security clearance required

As the Technical Lead, you will provide senior technical leadership across large-scale network refresh activities, ensuring secure, resilient, and modern connectivity across multiple sites. You will oversee design assurance, deployment planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and vendor coordination while driving delivery in complex, mission-critical environments.

Who are we looking for:

Must have:

  • Proven experience leading complex network infrastructure programs in secure or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong expertise in network design assurance, deployment sequencing, and multi-site technology rollouts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise wired and wireless network environments.
  • Experience developing technical procurement documentation and supporting government procurement processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills across government, vendors, and operational environments.

Highly desirable:

  • Experience with Aruba, Cisco, or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of switching standards, structured cabling, and physical infrastructure.
  • Experience coordinating service partners, cabling vendors, electrical contractors, and specialist infrastructure providers.
  • Knowledge of ICT assurance, cyber security requirements, governance, and change control frameworks.
  • Previous experience working across multi-agency environments and shared infrastructure arrangements.
