Network Infrastructure Engineer – TSPV Cleared | Defence Environment Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) client in Adelaide as we seek a driven, highly skilled and competent, TSPV Network Engineer to join our award-winning team in supporting our long-term costumer 12-month contract with the option to extend for 2 x 12-month periodsOnsite roles available in ACT and South Australia, including Adelaide and RAAF EdinburghCandidates must hold a current TSPV security clearance and be able to obtain Positive VettingStrong experience across infrastructure sustainment, network administration, systems installation, COTS hardware/software integration, troubleshooting and lifecycle management RoleWe are seeking experienced Network Administrators / Infrastructure Engineers to support critical secure ICT environments across Defence and national security settings. These roles will contribute to the implementation, management, sustainment and retirement of infrastructure that supports essential digital services, ensuring systems remain reliable, secure, scalable and operationally effective. Your duties will include:Monitor systems and infrastructure, responding to sustainment support requests and resolving technical issues.Maintain and upgrade device software and firmware, contributing feedback to improve current and future system designs.Build functional, testable and scalable infrastructure in line with detailed design guidelines.Integrate commercial off-the-shelf network hardware and software to optimise performance and functionality.Manage the full system lifecycle, including build, configuration, administration, maintenance, security and decommissioning.Undertake practical infrastructure tasks including racking, stacking, cabling, labelling and handover activities. Skills and Experience we are looking for:Demonstrated experience in infrastructure engineering, network administration or secure ICT operations.Strong capability in monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure, systems and service issues.Experience implementing infrastructure changes, maintenance routines and operational procedures.Ability to support availability management, disaster recovery planning and recovery procedure testing.Practical experience installing, configuring, maintaining and removing systems or infrastructure components.Current TSPV security clearance, Australian citizenship and ability to complete suitability assessment requirements prior to commencement.
