Marketing Officer

About the role

Nova Consulting is seeking a creative, analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Officer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Dickson, ACT (Canberra Office)

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, digital campaigns, brand initiatives and client engagement activities to promote Nova Consulting’s services and strengthen its market presence across Australia and New Zealand.

This role is suited to a motivated marketing professional who can combine market research, digital marketing, content development, stakeholder communication and campaign analysis to support business growth.

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for:

• Supporting business growth through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs.
• Conducting market research to identify opportunities for new and existing services.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Nova Consulting’s services.
• Advising on marketing activities including service positioning, pricing, advertising, sales promotion and distribution channels.
• Developing and coordinating digital marketing campaigns across social media, website, email marketing and other online platforms.
• Analysing customer, competitor and market data to support marketing strategies and business decisions.
• Preparing marketing reports and campaign performance analysis.
• Creating and coordinating marketing content, promotional materials, newsletters, presentations and digital assets.
• Liaising with external vendors, designers, media partners and marketing service providers.
• Supporting SEO, social media marketing, paid advertising and website content updates.
• Assisting with brand development and ensuring consistency across all marketing communications.
• Coordinating marketing activities for business events, client engagement campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Monitoring marketing trends and recommending improvements to increase brand awareness and client engagement.

Qualification & experience

The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications or a related role.
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy, market research and campaign planning.
• Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, website content and digital advertising.
• Ability to analyse marketing data and prepare clear reports and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in staffing, recruitment, consulting, healthcare, aged care, professional services or related industries will be highly regarded.
