Canberra PCYC is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our Executive Leadership Team.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role within one of Canberra’s most respected community organisations, delivering programs that support vulnerable young people, strengthen families, reduce youth offending and create pathways to education and employment.

As Operations Manager, you will help lead and support these services while working alongside a passionate and committed team.
About the RoleReporting directly to the CEO, you will:
· Provide finance and governance advice to the CEO and management team.
· Ensure compliance with funding agreements, policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
· Ensure business systems operate efficiently and effectively.
· Ensure IT, databases and reporting systems meet privacy requirements and that data security is maintained at the highest standards (e.g. Essential 8 or similar).
· Contribute to organisational growth, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, stakeholders and community partners.
· Provide operational leadership across multiple programs and service areas.
· Lead, mentor and support program managers and staff.
· Work with CEO and senior staff to support and implement the CPCYC strategic plan to assist CPCYC to meet its mission and goals.
· Oversee compliance, reporting and funding obligations.
· Support workforce development, recruitment and performance management
· Support strategic planning and organisational growth.
· Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
· Ensure programs continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for young people and families.
About YouYou are a confident and capable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about community impact.
You will bring:
· Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
· Experience within community services, youth services, education, justice, health or related sectors.
· Strong people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Sound knowledge of Microsoft systems and applications
· Experience managing compliance, contracts and reporting requirements.
· Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, in a dynamic operational environment.
· Current Driver’s License.
· Current WWVP Registration (or ability to obtain).
· National Police check
