The Role
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the presentation, maintenance, compliance, and operational performance of assets across the portfolio. This role oversees all aspects of building operations, ensuring assets are maintained to the highest standards while delivering a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment for tenants, visitors, and stakeholders.
  
Working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager, the Facilities Manager will manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs, coordinate contractors, oversee building services, and support the planning and delivery of capital works projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, financial acumen, and the ability to build effective relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
  
The Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring statutory compliance, managing contractor performance, maintaining service standards, and driving operational efficiencies across the portfolio. The position also participates in after-hours response requirements and supports emergency management activities when required.
  
What You Need
We're looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Facilities Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional property outcomes while building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  
Key Requirements include:
  • Proven experience in Facilities Management, Property Operations, Building Services, or a similar role within commercial property environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services including HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, fire, security, lifts, and essential services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing preventative and reactive maintenance programs, contractor performance, and service agreements.
  • Sound understanding of statutory compliance, building regulations, risk management, and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
  • Experience managing operational and capital expenditure budgets, with strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-focused approach combined with the flexibility to participate in after-hours responses and on-call responsibilities when required.
