Jeep | Alfa Romeo | Fiat | Abarth Location: Fyshwick, ACT Employment type: Full time Reports to: Aftersales Manager
We are Canberra's authorised dealership for Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Abarth, part of a growing automotive group that also operates a specialist American vehicle workshop. We are a small, capable team where everyone carries real responsibility and no two days look the same.
This is a hybrid front-of-house aftersales position. You will run the parts counter and act as a service advisor, sitting at the centre of the workshop's daily flow. The role suits someone who knows their way around a parts catalogue, communicates well with customers, and wants broader exposure than a single-lane parts or advisor job offers.
Parts
Interpret and source genuine parts for Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Abarth using the Stellantis EPC and supplier systems
Process retail, trade and workshop parts orders, including daily stock orders and VOR requests
Manage inbound freight, receipting, binning and stock control, including periodic stocktakes
Service trade accounts and grow trade parts sales with local workshops
Handle warranty parts retention, tagging and returns to manufacturer requirements
Service advising
Book service and repair work, manage the workshop diary and confirm appointments
Greet customers, write up repair orders, and capture accurate fault descriptions for technicians
Provide quotes, obtain authorisations for additional work, and keep customers informed throughout the day
Prepare invoices, explain work performed, and close out repair orders accurately
Support warranty claim documentation in line with Stellantis requirements
Identify legitimate upsell opportunities (maintenance items, accessories, tyres) without overselling
Experience in a franchised dealership parts or service department (parts interpretation experience strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems
Strong customer communication skills, written and verbal, and a calm head under pressure
Accuracy with ordering, invoicing and stock processes
Current driver's licence
Stellantis brand or European vehicle experience is an advantage but not essential
Competitive salary based on experience
A genuine hybrid role with full aftersales exposure, ideal for someone building toward an aftersales management path
Factory training through Stellantis
Stable, growing business with two operations across Canberra and room to move between them
Direct access to decision makers, with no layers of head office bureaucracy
Send your resume and a short cover note outlining your parts and/or service experience. Applications reviewed as received.
