Asbestos Laborer

The role will mostly consist of removing non-friable and friable asbestos from various areas of residential homes and commercial buildings, but may also include general labouring duties such as demolition, jackhammering, using power tools and site clean-up.

On the job training will be provided for the right candidate, however the following criteria will be looked upon favorably:

·         Previous experience in asbestos removal industry.

·         Remove bonded or friable asbestos ticket.

·         White card and asbestos & silica awareness training.

·         Confident using a variety of hand & power tools and being able to look after tools.

·         Focused and have strong communication skills and be able to use own initiative.

·         Work in a team environment.

·         Be physically fit.

·         Current licence and own transport

·         LR, MR or HR truck licence looked upon very favorably

The role will start as casual with the potential to switch to full time for the right candidate.
